Selam!

I hope everyones break was peaceful, refreshing, eventful, and wonderful!

The retreat was awesome with 10 young adults and 30 youth in general. The food by Lois Machnee was amazing! Oh, and the discussions were awesome to. Father Andrew and Father Cyprian led some lively discussions keeping away from the lecture format so often used. We learned that doubting is part of our journey in faith. That when someone that never doubts falls, they fall for good. Jesus even doubted on the cross, (how do you doubt yourself ... wow). At the same time doubts have to be dealt with or like Peter we begin to sink. Sometimes despite doubts we have to dive in, take that plunge and live for him despite our doubts, accept it for now and figure it out on the way. Thank you for putting a human face on Mary and Joseph in the talk exploring Josephs doubts about Christ and his divinity!

This week we have coffee on tuesday, everyone come out we will head somewhere to fellowship enjoy each others company and discuss volunteering for Archbishop Lazar's talk. The Poster is below.

Also we have vespers Thurs. 5:00pm at Shep's Institute. If you need more directions email! Hope to see you there, I know how busy it can get.
