HEY THERE!!!!!!!!

I hope everyones week has been going well, now that midterms have passed its back to the daily grind. 4 WEEKS LEFT until finals, doesn't that put your heart at ease.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to Ben Machnees talk. There was 9 people that showed up plus Ben. Ben is wonderfully gifted at going off in tangents and as a result in the half hour it took to introduce himself, he talked about everything from birth control to cathedral building, to Pope John Paul II, to his respect for the coptic Pope. It was a wonderful talk that encouraged us about the truth of the Ancient Church, and how we can use contemporary theological historians to defend the story of the ancient church. THIS WEEK we have Subdeacon James Davis speaking to us, I hope everyone can make it, it's going to be awesome. I've received word that he will perform some numbers for us that he has been working on lately! Also cookies and coke (the beverage))will be provided. I can't wait!

Also this week we will have the inter-Christian dodgeball tournament. Just show up with $2 and snacks will be provided. The teams will be randomly split up to encourage fellowship. I think us Orthodox will be the best out there! Come to represent your church and have a good time while plastering the person across from you wth a ball.(they expect 150 people out)

Friday November 3rd Dodgeball Night
Circle Drive Alliance Chruch Gym (Preston and Circle).
Bring gym shoes and gym clothes. Cost $2.
7-11 pm. Refreshments available.
Teams will be divided up into 5 different colours (so it's random).

A quick schedule change, Professor Jason Zorbas reluctantly has had to cancel his session with us due too time commitments. We will try to get another speaker instead. Also we wil be trying to have vespers on Nov 25ish as are second last meeting. We will have one last meeting just at the start of finals watching a movie or having a x-box/nitendo games night.
