Glory To Jesus Christ!

Well Holy Week is upon us and we journey through despair, death, pain, to the Resurrection. It is good to be here, now is the acceptable time, the day of our salvation. We will be taking a break this week to properly experience this amazing journey. If anyone needs a ride to a church for Holy Week or Paschal services please email us and we can get you in touch with a local parishioner to drive you!

This Week we have two small events. Prayer will happen on Monday 2:30 at group space as usual. Also IVCF and OCF along with CCO have organized a small reflection walkthrough on Holy Saturday. This happens at 4-6 pm Arts 108. This is attempt to condense the Holy Week journey into a 1/2 hour meditation. There will be the passion gospels, reflection activities as well as a foretaste of the resurrection. If you feel bored or have nothing to do feel free to come and go through at your own pace. It will be a great recap before the plunge on Saturday night.

FYRI this is an attempt to bring the Holy Week experience to protestants though it is still a wonderful experiance for anyone else. This is not a reiteration of the atonement doctrine.

Bright Monday BBQ
When: Monday April 9, 5:00pm
Where: See Below
Cost: 2$ (though we do accept indenturing for the financially challenged, note not at cost)

Do you want fun beyond your wildest dream, enjoyment on a Eudomic Scale. On Easter Monday we have our final event for the year! A BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I'll let Tim Dumbrowsky St. Vincents representative and member of OCF tell you about it.

"The address is 1623 8th ave north. The easiest way to get here is to turn off of warman road onto cavers (you can only turn one way), take the first right off of cavers onto 9th ave, then the first right again onto 8th ave, and we are #1623 (the beige and green one). We got a great fire pit in the back yard, a BBQ, table, chairs, trampoline, foosball, darts, xbox, and plenty of room for everyone... the more the better! No really! Be there or be square! Come or else! I'm serious now! PLEASE! Don't make me beg!"

On the menu: ........ LOTS AND LOTS OF MEET (burgers, hotdogs, maybe a lasagna).

Come Break the fast with the people that have lived and shared this experience of the year with you. Everyone is invited(worst case we will have to buy more food!). Bring friends, family(not fully extended though ;), and future OCFers ). If anyone needs a ride there will be two or three cars handy to help you out just email us. this is a great break between finals and celebration of "The Bright Feast Of School Overness"

Some small discussion will include executive for next year. Volunteers for Experience Us, Retreat for next year, etc. If you want to be involved next year this is the time to come out.
