Good Day,
Sorry for the lack of website, forgot about it!

So last week was the retreat! An amazing event that words cannot describe! The speaker was amazing! The topic was on Tradition, living the beliefs, thought and actions called by the Holy Spirit. Living a counter-cultural life for God that is more than liturgy but includes prayers and alms giving. We as OPrthodox are called to be so much more than we are. We have a great birthright to live up to. As Jesus said to St. john the Baptist's followers, the blind see, the lame walk, women receive their dead.... This is what will happen when we live a life for God, anything less is imperfection. I can tell you that living for Christ and knowing Him in the scriptures is all the difference!

This Week

We have Father Daniel Guenther speaking about "Kyrie Eleison: Lessons in Grace". This will happen on 5:15pm Tuesday Nov 20 @ Group Space. If you have had a chance to hear Fr Dan, his sermons are dynamic scripture filled messages of God. He is an amazing speaker! Check the poster below for more info. By the way we'll do pizza again on Tues. Please bring $3.

Next Week

We will have Becky Machnee, a recent graduate of St. Vincents Seminary speak on "Mental Illness and the Orthodox Tradition". Becky is an amazing women and this should prove to be very informative. This was also similar to her thesis topic. This will be Nov 27 5:00 pm @ Group Space.
